Land Code Vote

Mitaanjigamiing will be headed to a vote in Fall 2022 (date to be announced) for members of our community to decide on this important, historic initiative to bring the governance of our lands back to our people.

Our Land Code will replace the 44 sections of the Indian Act, that currently manage our reserve lands, with our own community-approved land laws.
